Renée Percy

Her career has included acting, writing, standup and sketch comedy, as well as touring Europe performing Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Some writing credits include writing for Canada’s #1 comedy show AIR FARCE LIVE! (CBC), COMEDY INC. (Canada’s MAD TV on CTV/The Comedy Network), MEN WITH BROOMS (CBC), she was co-creator of Teletoon’s animated pilot DUNCE BUCKET, and most recently she wrote for Teletoon’s animated series FUGGET ABOUT IT. She has also appeared in a COMEDY NOW! Special "Women of the Night" (Canada’s version of Comedy Central Presents on Comedy Network/CTV), and as a series regular for four seasons on the hit sketch comedy show COMEDY INC. (Comedy Network/CTV). She was a professional Yuk Yuk’s standup comedian and toured the country performing her quirky brand of comedy and has been seen at the Winnipeg, Whistler, Laughlin, and Burbank Comedy Festivals. Her viral video ‘Sure Lock: A True Poo Story’, has been viewed over 13 million times, was the most watched comedy video on YouTube, and won her a Canadian Comedy Award. Her two woman sketch troupe Mardi Bra was named one of NOW Magazine's Best Discoveries of 2004. She is also a Phil Hartman Comedy Award winner and can be seen in the feature film TEXTUALITY starring Eric McCormack and Jason Lewis, as well as in DUMBBELLS with Tom Arnold and Carl Reiner.
